Hunter’s Rest, if you can get me access to a plug, will bring my, I think, 30 cup coffee maker and make a large pot of coffee for your meet. Will make sure I have extra nibbles too. Also, will make sure I clean out my truck enough to handle an additional 2 guests. Should I bring my tables too?
Parking is right by my barn so of course I’ll have electricity. No tables (have some, and need none really for a stirrup cup) but yes to cartopping room and yes to coffee. Dandy!
Hunter’s Rest even has a fox living on or near the farm so it should be great day!

Re: the fox that lives here - I woke up (grrrrrr) at 1:30 am this morning and went to the 'loo. Was serenely gazing out the window in the bathroom and saw, shining in the full moonlight – Mr. Fox!! He was just strolling thru my garden like he was out for a lark. He was headed for my back deck - I toss all compost-able items off the deck right there. Wonder if he was after some eggshells and some tasty salmon scraps?! I lost sight of him when he entered the shadow of the house.
Needless to say, I could barely sleep afterwards. I know foxes are ‘commonplace.’ But still wicked cool to see them close up.
Do tell, La G., if the mister has already made it out!!
