Best place in the US to live for dressage?

 an hour and a half to civilization is way too far for a vacation home!

The scenery en route is great! Wilderness! Trees! Put on some music and enjoy!

Charlotte has some great food options once you arrive, and the people are lovely.

Asheville is a really nice town and I think only 30-45 minutes from Tryon. The area around Tryon is still rural but the scenery is pretty. Landrum is a one stoplight town, but it’s pretty adorable.

I’m partial because I live in Aiken SC. To qualify for Regionals, I would not need to leave Aiken county, lol. There are lots of recognized shows year round. And schooling shows, especially in the winter.
There are more and more dressage trainers here.

Asheville is still pretty trashed from Hurricane Helene. Hendersonville is closer to Tryon and has a very cute downtown.
