well, judging from the collection of seemingly medieval torture devices in Grandma’s attic, cows to like the taste of milk even when weaned (thorned thingamabobs to put on a cow’s nose, so it would goose the lactating cow when trying to drink)
but in general, yes, humans are the exception. 
You might try separating them during feeding time?
That way you don’t have to worry about your other kitties porking out.
The fountain seems to be a popular fix for many folks but if you go that route and have multiple pets, it can be hard to tell WHO is actually getting more water into their system. The wet food route is really best.
If I were in your shoes, I’d offer your Cleo the wet food in a different room with a closed door. Give her 20 min with maybe 3 different choices of foods? Then done?
