They are specifically listed in the new Annex so no need for bureaucratic interpretation.
:-). that makes life a little bit easier then doesn/t it! Well, my decision is made then. I was leaning toward the Fredrick anyway.
now…all i need to do is figure out her size…
Yep! I was questioned by the TD on my Fager loose ring Baucher last weekend. Was happy to point her to page 29 where it is shown exactly. The baby fulmers were specifically not legal, IIRC.
Thankfully, the baby fulmers are legal as long as they are paired with a legal mouthpiece.
The baby fulmers seem to tick all my boxes. I guess i should go look over that Annex for myself, as there are contradictory comments about the fulmers here…
i saw that the Baby Fulmer Carl is indeed not approved.
And then, because the Fredric was not pictured i asked and got this answer from USEF
Please report how your horse does with this new bit!
I have one of the Fager loose ring Baucher bits with the Fredric mouthpiece, but I have yet to try it on a horse, mainly since the horses seem to prefer my Fager bits in my double bridle, or the Bianca for just a snaffle. So it is living in my bit box until one of the two horses I ride “tells” me they want to try another bit.
I am so glad that you can use one of the two bits you were interested in.
it will be awhile i think. Sales told me they needed to wait for stock to arrive.
no biggie. The way i figure it, i’ve managed to live 67 years without it, what’s a few more weeks?
