Bit suggestions for first foxhunt or paperchase

What size bit does he need? I have many options, several kimberwicks and elevator bits (one ring and 2 ring) with french link. I have Myler kimberwick that’s very mild. Most of them are 5.5 though. I do have one 5" cartwheel bit that is a french link. If I can find it;). I can hand something off to K next week if you are interested.

He is a 5" but thanks for the offer. I think he will be good with what I have. I do need to have his running martingale shortened.

I took my greenie out in a French link with a running martingale-which is what I ride in. I wanted to move up to the French link gag I’d bought and use it with 2 reins but the trainer I’ve used said she thought he was fine as he was. And indeed he didn’t run off or anything. Still I like having a bit more bit (ha).
