Black Country options

I have a BC Celeste, which is a “dressage-y” trail saddle more or less, so possibly not something an eventer would find useful.

That said, it’s a very nice saddle, well made, tough leather. I agree with others that they do not have narrow twists, if that is something you want.

One nice thing about BC if you buy new is that they have a lot of “semi-custom” options available at no extra charge – things like short flaps, gussets, etc. In fact my only real complaint is that there were options I didn’t know about that would have helped the saddle I bought fit my horse better. It is not a bad fit, but could have been better.

Thanks for all the comments, everyone! The rep came out today (Patty Merli) and had me try a whole bunch of saddles (tried 7!) and I ended up with the Vinici Jump. Can’t wait to get it in! got it with Vintage leather and Schrumpf Seat. :slight_smile:
