Are they easier to load than regular haynets?
I will be a first time user as soon as mine arrive. Based on the video of the whole small bale size, it looks pretty easy. My equine dentist recommended them. He said they were easy to fill. He said he does it just like the video shows: set the bale up on its end, drop the bale net over it, flip it up on its other end and tighten the net and snip and remove the baling twine.
Ease of use is one one of my requirements, so Iâm hoping itâs as easy as it looks. Iâm trying to find a way to decrease wasted hay (I have a serial hay flipper/then pee on it). My hope is these are easy to fill so I can just drop the full bale in my existing feeders and Mr. Hay Waster wonât be able to flip it out.
Horseloverz has horseware on sale, although I didnât compare prices (so donât know how good the sale is!)
If anyone is looking for hay nets, they also have the large Shires nets for 10 bucks, with free shipping at $100.
They are advertising up to 80% off Horseware brand, but most of the âsaleâ prices on blankets and sheets arenât much different than the regular retail price. The few really good deals were limited to obscure sizes.
The Adams sale @TWH Girl mentioned is a tiny bit better, but not enough to make me pull the trigger.
Is it just me or do most of the Black Friday sales kind of stink this year?
Adams also has the $100 off if you trade in/donate a used blanket
I found some cool stuff at Premier Equine for 35% off. And the exchange rate is good now.
Did you find your heated cat house?
This one is on sale: https://slickdeals.net/f/12367285-k-h-outdoor-heated-kitty-house-35-free-shipping-amazon?src=frontpage
I just ordered a whole row of Costco garage cabinets on sale - it gives me great pleasure to think of all DHâs junk being stored in them.
Thank you! Thatâs about 50% less than most retailers sell it for! The order is IN!!!
I broke down and ordered some new clothes for âthe girlsâ from Adams too.
Looks like I got my whole wishlist, minus the insulated bucket covers. Theyâre the kind of thing that I hem and haw about purchasing every year. We hit a cold snap and Iâm like, âOMG I NEED THEM.â Then it warms up and Iâm like, âoh nevermind, I survived.â
Smartpak bucket cosies rock
Hmmmm, I remain underwhelmed by this yearâs black Friday sales. Give me something spectacular, like 50% off a Rambo blanket. Not just the normal 15-20% with the fine print exclusions- thatâs for Memorial Day. Yawn
we got a costco mattress!
I am so irritated that yet again I fell for the Horseloverz crap! Theyâre advertising an additional 25% off any order over $129, so I dutifully filled my cart to that point, checked out⊠No discount. So I emailed them, and oh, despite the banner saying ANY order over $129, the extra 25% off is only for orders exclusively of certain merchandise over $129 - so if you do like I did, and have a mix of ârestrictedâ and âdiscountableâ items, youâre out of luck since you didnât have $129 of âdiscountableâ merchandise - even though the banner says âany order over $129.â They suck so bad!
Even thought I picked up two of the three items on my list, I completely agree. Most of the deals I saw were nothing amazing. The only thing that encouraged me to buy the blankets I bought was an ok deal + free shipping, and the fact I âneededâ them (or convinced myself I needed them, ha!).
