Black Nyjer Thistle seed? Is it toxic to horses?

Why didn’t you say this to begin with?

I’m assuming it’s because the original post wasn’t asking about returning the seed it was asking if nyger thistle is toxic to horses, nothing more

Way to shift blame for your nonsense onto the OP, who had zero need to tell any of us the finer details of The Great Seed Debacle 2023, and off of yourself.

 <- there are not enough of those on the planet to express the ridiculosity and rudeness of, “Why didn’t you say this.”

I realize we don’t agree on anything and that you seem to take delight in trying to provoke me but if the OP had said ( in that first post) they actually ORDERED a bag of thistle seed and accidentally dumped it in the flax bin, then I wouldn’t have even replied.

Asking why the OP didn’t give more details is neither ridiculous or rude. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving .

I’m afraid I was the person who said if it was a delivery error they could likely get a refund.

That was after we’d gone round and round on no definitive data on nyger seed for horses.

I still don’t see why that is such an issue but it sure got some people bent way out of shape.

Such is the way of COTH

Absolutely Nowhere in my OP did I say I had ordered it and received the wrong thing.
For what it is worth, I am feeding the mixed stuff and have been for several days. The general consensus that I can find is that it isn’t toxic. I don’t think it will do much aside from go in one end and out the other; but they will get their flax. And the finches can pick apart the manure in the fields.

I see that now( that it was explained) but I think I got the idea from ^^^ and mistakenly thought you had gotten one by mistake.
