OP, we certainly need some photos of the equine in question to be Hugged (or Wugged), so we may help with blanket and waterproofity recommendations.

No she did not, as a marro fact.
And I could use a Neck Shape Tutorial.
This little horse is my first Dressage Build and also, she’s a Pear. So while she’s adding muscle and getting better, she has narrow shoulders compared to her fat rib cage further back and her neck is set on high rather than low. Think of her as the opposite of a quarter horse, where you might want a long, laid-back neck opening.[/QUOTE]
Wug, it’s great for horses with shoulders that are longer than they are wide.

SStack has some of their blankets/sheets on sale right now and they fit my half arabs really well. 1200 denier.
Also, this blanket is cheap enough AND 1200 denier so if it doesn’t fit right you aren’t going to cry
Ah… Schneider’s Tack. Those guys Owe Us an unlined hood. That’s the first place I went to look for such a thing. I care for one horse who has a quilted hood snapped onto his SSTack unlined rainsheet. He’ll put up with that. My mare might not.
BTW, the waterproofing on his sheet lasted just about the one year that Schneiders’ fine print promised. The don’t make waterproofity like they used to. Sigh. I, too, use the spray-on silicone stuff. And someone on COTH just hauls off and uses Thompson’s Waterseal…as you would on your deck.

I’ve tried Thompson’s, too. Once.
I’m really hoping my little experiment with the 303 product works well. The boating, car and camping crowd rave about this stuff. What I like so far: ease of application and waterproofity when dry. How long will it last? That’s the question.
