Got a FB ad stating that Blue Ribbon is having a “sale” on one of their scrim sheets - they are offering variety of body colors, any trim, any piping. But…it didn’t mention the hidden belly strap. Which is kind of a must have for me otherwise I spend the day readjusting the scrim as it slides off of Dobbin’s butt.
Does anyone have a Blue Ribbon scrim? As the company is in California, I was wondering if they perhaps have more of a West Coast customer base, and maybe the West Coasters would comment?
I already know about the Clothes Horse, Triple Crown, and Integrity. I am just asking only about Blue Ribbon. I’m just not familiar with Blue Ribbon scrims.
Any opinions or knowledge of the fit/quality/feel of the scriim material? Is it worth the price? I am looking for something more opaque than some of the ones on the market. Does Blue Ribbon have more than one variety/level of scrim? I looked at their web site and it was pretty basic.
I am looking for a scrim for ring side at shows, not as a fly sheet for turn out. Thank you!

So I thought perhaps a COTH forum reader might provide their user info. Hence my post at 10:21 tonight.
I have a Blue Ribbon scrim. I purchased it about 10 years ago, though.
Mine does have a removable belly surcingle. The “scrim” material is softer and finer than the Triple Crown version I also have. The only thing I don’t love about the BR one is the trim. The binding is silver-gray, but it’s a warmer gray than I expected and doesn’t quite match the more normal colored/cooler silver-gray trims I have on other TC, Integrity, or Clothes horse items.
I’m happy with the scrim, though. It just doesn’t get used much as I don’t show very frequently anymore.
This is what they say online (bolded standard features), so it looks like a surcingle would be an add on and not standard.

Thank you, ElementFarm and Sueby. I will be calling them today. This is not a “must have” but has been on my bucket list, and I am a cautious shopper even when I can see the product in front of me.
