Boarder has dumped their horse
Again, csaper58, I can find NOT ONE REFERENCE where the OP said ANYTHING about the horse’s owner being hospitalized. The only person who has mentioned it is you.

Obviously this thread bothers you, so maybe it would be to you benefit to not read anymore of it and find a real atrocity in life to champion.

You can see at the bottom of the post if it has been edited. Not rocket science!
You have missed the point of this discussion, but thanks for trying.
Csaper, you are argumentative when you really don’t have to be. (And with several lawyers on the board). Your other posts on COTH are generally helpful and supportive. So is something going on for you? You don’t have to answer, but it’s something you might consider.
Nope, I am just defending a position.
Not to mention that becoming hospitalized AFTER agreeing to a contract doesn’t allow you to make an argument about problems having to do with formation…
I would (and have) cut a boarder who is hospitalized a little slack.
Read the post above this quoted post by you.

You can quote with out using the forum’s functions. Being able to quote does not mean you can use the edit or delete function, no matter how many times you want to say it does.
I disagree with your supposition and prefer reality.
Also unless a post is edited almost immediately, there is a line at the bottom indicating that the post has been edited. I don’t see that line on the OP’s posts on this thread, which would suggest that unless she IMMEDIATELY edited her posts, she hasn’t edited them.
Quoting is not being discussed, deleting is.

Cutting someone slack doesn’t make a contract unconscionable or usurious. Completely different issues.

I’ve been following this thread from the start and I didn’t see anything deleted. As best as I can tell casper, you’re the only one who thinks thst happened

Most folks have ‘tells’ when they are nervous about their answers.

They stutter, blink, sweat,… misspell.

…or they are typing on a phone or other mobile device that often autocorrects and/or means they might hit more than one letter at once and gasp mis-type something.

Seriously?

I’m typing on an iPhone and I suck with its keyboard.

So Casper, where are you barred and in what jurisdiction would usury apply?! Cuz you keep posting but forgetting to answer that.

Double post

I’ll give you this Casper, you’re a MASTER at changing the subject rather than admitting you’re wrong. And you like to argue so much you’ll make stuff up if that’s what it takes!

And while we’re at it, please provide a credible citation that typos (not verbal tics, typos) are evidence of lying. I guess you’re a lawyer and a psychologist?! LOL

Isn’t your comma before the ellipses a typo too?! Guess your guilty subconscious typed that  because you know punctuation errors are a sign of being totally full of sh!t and grasping at straws

It’s so cool that all of a sudden everyone can quote.

If you briskly rub that nerve the sting will go away.

I’ve never had a problem with it. It’s simple html. Quote in brackets, text, end quote in brackets.

Why are you changing the subject again?!

Not taking sides, bit of a cat fight over trivial stuff IMO.

But if this is true

“because you know punctuation errors are a sign of being totally full of sh!t and grasping at straws”

I should/need to go and delete the majority of my comments. I’m no “English major” that’s for sure.

Not too smart either having tried to make my living with horses.

Here it is all in one spot for you to answer, Casper…

-where are you barred?
-in what jurisdiction would usury apply?
-provide a citation that typos are a tell of the writer’s nervousness
-explain why that doesn’t apply to your own typos
-why do you keep changing the subject rather than admit you’re wrong/don’t know what you’re talking about?

Inquiring minds (who can quote) want to know

That was sarcastic, hence the smileys. I was giving Casper her own nutty “logic” back. Typos/errors don’t mean anything except a mistake in typing and I make plenty on my phone

… the slow death of a thread that started off as instructive …

< big sigh >
