Boarding Barns in Kansas City Area?

Hi, All,

So, I’ve lived in KC forever, but if there’s one thing I know about this city, it’s that word of mouth is, STILL, an easier way to find a good “hidden gem” of a boarding barn vs. just doing a google search. I know of many excellent boarding barns in Kansas city, but most of them are in south KC (Bucyrus, Stilwell, Spring Hill, etc) and I’ve recently moved down town (by the med center). The closest place to keep my mare (we do low-level eventing and dressage) is in Lees Summit, a whopping 50 minutes away. I would LOVE to find something in north kc (near the airport, as I work in Briarcliff) or something closer in toward me–something like KCK, Shawnee, etc.

Does anyone happen to know of any great boarding barns?

I found these with a cursory look. I am not too familiar with what is up north, but there used to be kind of a nice one off 169, and south of 68th st IIRC. I know a nice person in Liberty that does dressage and has a lovely facility.
