Boarding barns near Seattle/Tacoma

Hi everyone!

I’m helping out a friend searching for a boarding barn in the Seattle/Tacoma area. She has two paints: nice, easy keepers.

Key barn features:
Turnout 7 days/week in a good sizes paddock or field
Trails would be ideal

…and that’s really it. She’s having a heck of a time finding places that have more than a small mud turnout.

I don’t know much about the care there, but check out Carousel Ranch in Woodinville. No trails but horses are turned out all together (mares and geldings separately) all day, every day in large fields. There’s mud, but there’s also grass and the turnouts aren’t tiny.

Otherwise, it’s hard to find anything that isn’t mud AND has horses in it in this area. Pretty much any ground you turn a horse out on regularly is gonna turn to mud here.
