Boarding

Gosh, I’d love to hear more if you have time. Are there other barns near the area for schooling or shows? Did you have a hard time finding vets or farrier? And – did you go through a realtor? Appreciate you humoring me. Half my family has moved down that way. I was casually looking for acreage closer to my dad (who moved to Hollywood FL) but oh my god are land prices insane down there. How are your horses handling the heat/climate change?

Our horses are doing great, every once in awhile they get hot but we have plenty of shade and the farm came with a really nice barn with fanned stalls. We are no where near Hollywood that is about 4 more hours south. Land prices are quite absurd at the moment I agree. I am going to start building out the farm more, I am sure there are plenty of other private farms nearby but we will probably school and show some but on a small scale once we start earning more from boarding. We were fortunate to find a good Vet and Farrier nearby that we have come out monthly or as needed for our horses and offer the services to our boarders if they don’t have services already lined up.
