Epstein’s “suicide” was awfully suspicious. They better have a 24/7 suicide watch plus 24/7 cameras on her.
The likelihood of her dying from COVID is not that great.

Yeah, if she commits suicide no one, and I mean no one, will believe it… It will be interesting to follow this power play. I am so glad they got her, she needs to be in jail for what she did to those poor women.

Generally speaking – historically, in cases of serious crime involving a man and woman pair, if he dies before justice can be fully administered and before she gets a sentence, the woman will get the full weight of the punishment that he could have expected.
Although in this case it would seem she is just as culpable. She was a force of destruction in many young lives.

It sounds like she did the procuring and the grooming and handed the minors over to Epstein and his buddies, in return for living a lavish lifestyle among the celebrity crowd. Hers was not a secondary role.

I’m not disagreeing with this statement, but she was already fabulously wealthy and running with celebrities, so her behaviour is just who she is.

Most countries and legal systems outside the US don’t allow plea bargains in any kind of way! In many countries in the free world you can still hold on to your job even when suspected for bad things. This is down to the being presumed innocent till proven otherwise in a court of law. Obviously no system is flawless.

Law is interesting and so differently set up depending on where you live. Even so the dip shits of any/our sport don’t belong and it must be able to stream line that part way more in between federations and even the FEI.
I know a case where a convicted child abuser just moved across the border into another country within the European Union to continue train young girls and boys after he got out of prison. That for sure should not be possible :mad: But different countries different rules, different registers… :eek:

She grew up that way but her father committed suicide by jumping off his yacht. He was in the middle of a pension absconding scandal when he took his life. There was a huge scandal and she was no longer the daughter of a billionaire. Her lifestyle and place in society took a huge hit when he did that. I think maybe she was in her teens?20’s? when that happened.

Maxwell was 30 when her father died, and upon his death she moved immediately into society in New York city so I’m gonna go ahead and stand by my statement. She didn’t become a procurer and child rapist because daddy died leaving her destitute. She has always been rich and traveled in these circles
