@Laurierace I bet they didn’t need to sedate you for your pedicure either.
It completely depended on the horse but I had some very nonplussed rides through there and a couple where you could hear the wood reverberating as I smacked into it, hard.
The Hacienda at Bowie was WAY more troubling. A horse, and maybe a rider, died in my time galloping there.
For explanatory purposes imagine an indoor track housed all in cinder block. The horse I know died as it galloped head on into a point of the wall.

:eek:. Oh no, eek, I hope you didn’t get hurt!!
I don’t think anything was more than a bruise. Running into wood at a walk or even while the horse was ‘bouncing’ is still a million times better than being flipped over on or falling off while at a gallop.
