I don’t think anyone has said they mix-and-match for aesthetic reasons. The OP said she didn’t like the brow and noseband fit of the PS - “fit,” not “looks.”

And everyone else has reported using pieces of different size bridles, which indicates that it’s a “fit” issue, not a “looks” issue.

Yes, exactly. I have heard of a few custom companies that will mix their pieces. I wonder what FF bridle leather is like…

So tough when many seem to fit differently. I am thinking Cob crown and cheeks with the remaining being full might be the answer, thank you all for sharing

@pryme_thyme Someone in my barn has a flexible fit bridle, and it seems very nice. She’s happy with it.

You may still be able to sell just the parts you didn’t use, individually

Bartville Harness.They’ll make you a bridle that fits. Give them a call, they’ll tell you what you need to do from there. It’s an Amish shop, please don’t call on Sunday. During the week leave a message, they will get back to you.

High quality, fair pricing. They will do mail order but checks only. Last time I was up there they did not take credit cards. I have to head up to that area in a couple weeks. Absolutely going to stop there as well.
