My horse was nice enough to leave me evidence. I found the slabs of tooth in her feeder (over several years as it broke up one slab at a time.). Until the whole crown was broken off, she did have a ‘sour’ mouth from hay packing in there but she never got an infection.
LCDR as you said in your reply…very few veterinarians have advanced training. I live in Idaho. How many do you suppose reside around my area? Most of us have to make due with the local professionals .
