Broodmare due 3/27 not eating well

She gets as much coastal hay as she can eat. And she has been eating her hay normally all along. So, she is getting plenty of roughage from hay.

Timothy hay is not normally available around here. I was able to get some VERY pricey bales earlier this year but that is gone now. I am not a big fan of feeding a lot of alfalfa (too much energy.)

She has been eating great the last 3 or 4 days since I switched to mixing the SafeChoice Mare and Foal, TC 30 and timothy pellets. (And I changed the location of her feed bucket - LOL) She is literally licking her bucket clean.

The only reason I add the timothy pellets is that my other horses are on those just so they feel like they are getting an actual meal, instead of just their tiny 1/2 pound of TC30. I added them to the broodmare’s grain in an attempt to make it more yummy.
