Brown hunt cap

WG- your post #10 remains incorrect as written.

And you are right, look at the original post-not asking advice for what is proper where- just asking for a lead on where to find a brown helmet!

As both Watery Glen and JSwan know, I am unable to ride in a coherent fashion unless my cognac field boots are properly matched to my (hopefully soon to be) brown cap. I may be laying face down in a ditch with the rest of first field jumping over me, but I plan to look good while doing so;) To add fuel to this fire, it is my understanding that the most proper cubbing neckwear is a tie, followed by rat catcher and then stock tie. I am a rat catcher girl myself since it reminds me of my junior days, when I actually had some business jumping large obstacles. I think we need to continue this discussion at hunt night or perhaps at the festivities at Hunters Rest on the 15th…

Nah!

Nah, forgetaboutit!! We’ll all look good no matter what we wear! The only thing we HAVE to wear is a smile! Even when face down!
Yup! That’s it!

OK, I’ll jump into the fracas :D:winkgrin:.

I have some browwwwnnn field boots. Granted, they are lacking laces and need zippers in the back, but I feel it is my duty to have a brown hunt cap to match them. That is my story and I’m stickin’ to it. In other words, I just want a brown hunt cap!!! I must match! I must!!
Yes, I was raised in Richmond. We MUST MATCH. We cannot go anywhere in public unless WE MATCH. Ask anyone who was raised in the '50s/60s in the capital city. My stomach is queasy just thinking about “mismatched” in general. It is our burden to bear.
I think I need an intervention.

Speaking of which:
WG-why aren’t you out getting Edwards Key Lime/French Chocolate Silk pies?
