Coat color is interesting. In the b&w photo I saw all the white hairs but, in the color photos he looked solid bay, except for those cute bobbie socks. Well, actually, in one pic that right rear hock looked gray.

The sun was in a bad spot for taking the pictures, I had to lift a ton of shadows/blacks to get some detail back so it may have muddied the “truth” 
You’re too hard on yourself. I absolutely love the first two. One or both of those need to be printed on a BIG canvas and hung on the wall!
