We have three small mini splits, one per room, tack room, bath room and feed room.
They work great, heat and air on demand, all run from one small unit outside.
We don’t have windows other than a small narrow one higher up in the bathroom.
Doors have top half glass, much light comes thru there.
That was so rooms are more tight from rodents and insects and easier to heat and cool.
LOL! We did the photos with measurements throughout the house. Totally worth it so we know exactly where everything is as we start putting things on the wall.
Our new neighbor owns an HVAC business and will install a mini split for the track room. I’m currently working out of my trailer and finally got to the point where it’s so humid that track is now living in my truck. Putting A/C in the track room is a very definite non-negotiable. Appropriate insulation for sure!!
