Cat poop issues. When to go to the vet?

My two get wet food only and I mix it with water and they pee more than any cats I’ve known. At least twice a day and large quantities. They’re both super healthy - just way more hydrated than the average house cats that eat dry food.

My dog’s poops get a sort of dry consistency when I feed her pumpkin. If it starts binding her up a little I scale back the amount. My cats only get about a quarter teaspoon each - they don’t need much.

I wish I had every other day poopers but mine go twice a day each! Ugh.

I would only be concerned if he stopped eating or peeing or if he seemed otherwise unwell.

We had poop that was both in the litter box and moist enough for litter to stick! Woohoo!

I’ll monitor the peeing situation, but since he seems healthy, I think I’ll just talk to the vet about it when he goes in for a check-up this spring. I’d like to sync his yearly visit with the dog’s.

We have a cat that is sometimes daily/sometimes every other day pooper. BUT when she is constipated, she goes outside the box. We have found that Cat Lax twice a week, about an inch or so from the tube, works wonders. No more out-of-the-box stuff in the roughly 3 months we’ve been doing this. Before it was once or twice a week.
Unlike my prior cat, this one, who is long haired, rarely heaves up a hairball. But I’m convinced that’s why she sometimes “gets stuck” at the other end.

I have one that gets fed a commercial raw food plus a little FreshPet or Nulo. Both the FreshPet and Nulo have added fiber.
The psyllium in the RadCat (raw) just doesn’t quite do the job for my male cat.

If I don’t feed him adequate fiber, he will occasionally get one (turd) hung up. Can’t quite get it out. Then he proceeds to jet out of the litter box and drag his butt on the carpet. Leaving me little nuggets along the way. Really sweet:no:. The Nulo has pea fiber and the Fresh Pet does have about 10% veggies. He hasn’t gone outside the box since I started the food with some added fiber. My other cat does just fine on the raw with either some Fancy Feast or Merrick Limited Ingredient. Of course, being cats, they won’t eat the same thing but Emmy does fine with the limited fiber.
