Agree with the others
As many have said, either save or splurge but get a decent used, name brand saddle. You’ll be able to get your money (or close to it) back out of it and you know better the level of quality of the piece. No-name saddles are not the way to go… many are poorly made and next to impossible to resell.
Also be sure to get a saddle that fits both you and your horse to prevent problems. Pick up a copy of “The Horses Pain-Free Saddle Fit Book” by Harmann and give it a once over. It will help you evaluate the soundness of a saddle, and fit for you and your horse.
Take a look at tackshops that offer free trials and have return policies on their used saddles. They are a great way to find a good saddle, and you are only out shipping. Rick’s Heritage, Buck County, Pelhman Saddlery, and St. Croix Saddlery are a few… depending on where you live, there may be a saddle shop with consignments and trial policies for you to try and save on shipping too.
