I’ve never had a dog before who loved berries, but Piper’s making up for lost time. I don’t care that much if she munches the raspberries, but she’s eating the sour cherries off the ground. OMG, what dog DOES THAT?! And she loves them: she makes a beeline for the tree every time she goes out. Anyone dealt with this before? Do I just need to fence it off while it’s in fruit? TIA / ARGH!
I had two dogs that would get sick from eating berries, so you might want to watch their intake.
My dog eats the little sour plums. He’ll stand on his hind legs and pick them. No issues so far

Had a dog that would eat all the fermenting mulberries off the ground…he liked the “intoxicating” effect apparently!

she’s got a good stomach, so less worried about her getting sick than cyanide in the pits. 
I doubt she is digesting the pits. My guy just passes the plum pits whole.
