The only boots to wear are leather. Equitector are rumoured to do the best and the warmest, and they are semi made-to-measure! if you run to it get a proper hunting bootmaker to make you a pair with trees. here in the UK everyone uses Battens or Davies, but prepare to spend $1500!!

I just ordered a pair of Ariat Bromont H2O insulated boots. They are a field boot but come in dress. My hunt club is less stringent about those things. They are new for $200 on ebay, regularly about $350.
