Thanks for those links rhymeswithfizz.
We should all be hopeful and worried at the same time.
rhymeswithfizz, thanks so much for posting the link. I was very short of time last night and didn’t have time to look for it.

I didn’t even have to hunt, it actually popped up on Facebook for me!
I thought it was interesting that the listing agent said that it was a 90% chance that it would be sold to an equestrian. I wonder, is that realistic, or just optimism?
I am guessing optimism, unless there is some quiet negotiation going on. My husband said “hey, call up John Malone–you used to work for him! Tell him to buy it!” Yeah, I worked for TCI back in the day, but I am very sure John Malone has no idea who I am…

John Malone would be a good buyer…he owns a lot of Elbert County and his wife is a horsewoman (don’t know about him).
If Helen K wants to return east, why not hire someone to manager and hope on an airplane periodically to see that all is well. At least, until the right buyer comes along.
I wondered if a manager would be the way to go, to avoid rushing into a sale. But ultimately it’s going to be her choice, of course.

We had an absolute blast at the Bijou pair pace held at CHP today!
Count me in the “worried” category…

Oh I think not, when he bought the property where Bijou used to kennel their hounds he did not allow them to stay (or, I think, continue to hunt there, though I am not sure on that point).
Update, it’s been sold, I see that’s been posted in h/j land but figured I’d update this thread as well.

I remember showing dressage there back when it was High Prairie Farms. It is an awesome facility; I’m glad it is remaining an equestrian venue. I had such a great time at the four-day long Dressage in the Rockies.
SOLD!
If you haven’t heard yet, the Colorado Horse Park is under contract to the Bellisimo group. After seeing the job they did on the Tyron facility, can’t wait to see what they plan for CHP.
Awesome news!!!
