I wonder if your previous boots spun because they were too big? I see a lot of people ordering larges when the mediums would be more appropriate. Colton is not a spindley guy and is 15.3 for reference.
In my case, I had them on a smaller-boned but definitely medium sized horse. When they spun, I sold them to a friend with a bigger-boned horse. They also spun on him.
So we decided maybe that particular boot design didn’t work.
