He’s doing pretty good so far. My vet and farrier working together (and taking xrays) glued on some little wedge pads. First to the worse leg and now on both. Made a HUGE difference. He still isn’t ready to be out on all night turn out but is looking a lot better. My vet is just concerned about doing the splinting given his other issues so we are hopeful that we can keep him coming around with just his sneakers. (and I still have him on Rejuvenade).
My farrier is a SAINT…he has quick drying glue but still to get glue ons on this boy isn’t easy (can we say he will try and fall down—but is getting better)! He basically hand made the little sneakers (not full shoes) and they have the effect of supporting the coffin joint and a bit of a wedge…and being glued. He also hasn’t charged me…I think he finds it interesting. 
So fingers crossed he keeps going in the right direction!
