Corgi People - Am I NUTS??

I’m not worried about the cats…the younger one is 100% sure he IS a dog (plays fetch, the whole nine) and the older spends his life attached to my husband like velcro.

So my next question is…if I can’t find a local breeder or one within driving distance, is it really OK to put a puppy on a plane? And is buying a dog, who is essentially a family member, sight unseen kind of like getting a mail order bride?? It just seems so strange to me!

Based on your area, you should be able to find someone within driving distance. That said, puppies tend to handle flying well. One of my mine is in Utah.

I would rather fly the puppy from a good breeder than gamble on a bad one. (Admittedly neither of mine were papered, one’s from the shelter, the other from my neighbor, though in her case I know the guy who bred her and he was more than a little relieved she ended up with me instead because he knew I wouldn’t breed her.)
