As stated mills use corn to clear onefeed from the pipes, before the next run. some corn hangs up. Pick it out and feed it to someone else.

Re:quality control and cattle feeds. I know Purina will not allow one local mill to mill their horse feeds, as that mill uses monensin, etc. in their cattle feeds. And yet, many local barns happily feed the mill’s horse feeds, because it’s cheaper.

False economy all the way.

I agree. When feed is outsourced, even within the US, it can be dangerous.
