COTH Bullying

My my my. It certainly would appear as though some can serve it up but can’t handle eating it.

Well, I don’t know. Do any of them have any good recipes?

ETA: and @Annie10 beat me to it. :grin:

How does this fit into your endless repeating of how much COTH does not matter to you or anyone else out in the world that you encounter?

Open fridge, throw in everything that needs using up, cook all day, devour.

Much like the rest of life, sometimes you just need to get rid of left overs and move on.

OP, you’re degraded and publicly shamed on every platform you participate on. It’s not a function of the platform, it’s a function of your choices.

John Waters is a national treasure and one of Baltimore’s best since Edgar Allen Poe.

What is it about Baltimore? I lived there for 5 years starting in the late 1990s. Definitely haunted. Crazy gothic architecture.

I’ve never lived there but I would put Baltimore as the most beautiful city in America. This link has pictures to a few of the most outstanding structures. (Baltimore also has some of the most beautiful churches I’ve seen anywhere). https://www.baltimoremagazine.com/section/community/baltimore-the-beautiful-historic-city-landmarks-architecture/

Baltimore is beautiful but it has been losing population year over year like Detroit, and whole blocks of derelict row houses have been torn down in the past 20 years leaving empty fields. The area is wealthy and in proximity to DC, but the city per se has struggled with loss of industry, loss of tax revenue, loss of retail, a huge drug problem (anyone remember The Wire on HBO?), and out migration to suburbs (not just white flight, there are predominantly black suburbs too). When I was there the waterfront rehabilitation project seemed to be paying off, but all the retail down there has since closed.

Large swaths of the city were no go areas due to drug related violence when I lived there.

People with a personality like Kate’s should be studied 🥸 I find her interesting lol

Kate, some of the, what you call, bullying happened because people asked for pictures of your grey mare Bianca. Asking for photos because of concern, the pictures you had posted on your FB made her look terrible. All the while you were bragging how she was such a good mare and a favorite of yours. People were concerned about her. But instead of showing that she’s taken care of you got defensive. So how did you expect people to respond?

These are true things, although our homicide rate keeps dropping and a lot of the derelict housing is slowly being converted. Some of that is gentrification or being taken over by our medical behemoths UMMD and Johns Hopkins but there is quite a lot of mixed use stuff being put up and less expensive new housing. Bawlmer is a great little city- we’ve been here for over 20 years and we love it.

@Annie10 - Mississippi Pot Roast

Place a small beef roast in the crockpot. (I brown it in a pan first but you don’t have to.) Add 4-5 pepperoncini and about 1/4 cup of the juice from the jar. Add a stick of butter. Pour the contents of a packet of au jus mix and a packet of ranch dressing mix (dry, do not add anything) over the roast. Cook on low for 8 hours. Do not stir during cooking.

You’ll thank me. :wink:

I have acquaintances, hell I have a family member, who just can’t get out of bed unless they have somebody to fight with. That is the whole point of their existence. Not that this applies to anybody on this thread.
