County Innovation/Stabilizer/ Sensation Balance Points?

As the owner of two solutions and two QH mares, I’m going to say the Countys aren’t going to be a good fit for a horse with big withers. Both of my solutions are the monoflap and a M tree (they run wide). I did successfully (happy horses during and after the ride, no sore backs) ride lots of horses in both of them - TBs and WBs - but usually with a Mattes pad, and if I had owned the horses I would’ve found a saddle that fit better.

Hey Calvincrowe,
I don’t know what a skid row panel is. And this isn’t a monoflap. I’m sure those are great, but I’ve never owned one.
My horse caught his lower jaw in the stirrup as I was mounting-I took my eye off him for a second to put my foot in the stirrup!! With the result you can imagine. my saddle is coming loose at the panel, and where the saddle is attached to the tree the leather is torn loose. Thank God the horse didn’t hurt himself or me.
The saddle fitter said she doesn’t think the tree is broken, but she doesn’t think I should ride in it,. I have anyway (of course because horse folk are crazy). But the saddle didnt’ fit well anyway. So, I need something fairly quickly, if at all possible.
Thanks for any info!

Y’all I am trying a County Conquest Xtra. Does me fits the horse BUT the stirrup bar hooks up like I’ve never seen. If you come off, I don’t think your leather would come loose.

Anyone heard of this? Why would they do this???
