Paddy that’s a generous offer. I’m unfortunately too far away to offer a home but if the “COTH stars” align for this girl, willing to contribute to vet costs if reasonably fixable.
In for a bit here too (had to wait for pay day), but hoping some one can take her. I keep checking this thread.
I contacted someone in Toledo who then contacted a vet closer to the pony. Not sure what has happened since though.
good lord

If we can line up a permanent home, I can go pick her up and have the vet out and get her rehab started (if she’s fixable). I just cannot keep her permanently.[/QUOTE]
You rock! I hope something works out for this poor creature soon.
Can you find out if any action was taken from your inquiries?
I don’t want to duplicate any efforts.

Someone please get the poor thing. And if she cannot be rehabbed to soundness, then please put her down. I’m in.

I think something is in the works. At least someone–a friend of a friend is going to look.

Thank you! Please let me know if I can do anything to help.
I know it’s asking a lot but maybe when/if someone goes to pick her up they can grab the other one too. I fear for that little thing if the dark one leaves. freaking people.
The pony has been removed from the farm and is currently in the savior’s pasture. She said the pony was suffering. A vet will be doing an examination.

Please keep us updated!
Thanks for letting us know. So glad she’s with someone who will do the right thing by her.
I am happy to report that the pony has a good forever home.

Did the vet see the pony yet?
Would love to know why the pony is “cribbled”.
HappyTalk, living up to that user name.
The vet saw the pony. Apparently, the pony is “cribbled” from contracted tendons.

How old is she and can contracted tendons be corrected at her age?
