IS he kin somehow to Dave Sams that has the training track in Sowego?[/QUOTE]
No I don’t think so.
If this piece of work is really advertising that he does kosher slaughter of animals, then it really would be a kindness to contact the local Jewish community and inform them of this story. Somehow I doubt his “facilities” will stand up to the rigors of kosher. Or humanity, for that matter.
Unofficial “Announcement”
This message to contact Wally Covington’s office is from an unofficial source. I called their office and they affirmed that they had nothing to do with this posting or the upcoming trial.
Frankly, I find it disconcerting that someone would anonymously solicit “bad experiences” without the counter of those who had “good experiences.”
All credibility goes out the window for me on this one.

Interesting to read his supporter’s comments on that news article.
It’s a plot. Poor man. He’s a victim.

And the poster above your post is ne of his supporters.
I guess he thinks starving animals is ok. Maybe he is unaware of the long history that Mr Sams has of neglecting animals. Or maybe he is a relative or friend.
I just read the comments to the article. All I can say is wow. I wonder what color the sky is in that guys world. Says Animal Control is after the land. But Mr. Sams doesn’t own the land. Hmmm. And I see the same name here from another of the comments. Seems to be upset that anyone would tell people who they could contact if they wanted any input. I wrote the supervisor and they responded that it would be decided in court. Fair enough. I’ve been to the place, it was disgusting but there is a minimum standard of care and he walked a fine line with the animals in the place. Apparently he fell over the line.
He is still in business but in this country you are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. He will have his day in court in June and the evidence will tell the story.
Having seen one of the seized animals in person as it now resides at the farm where I keep my horse, I have to say…totally disgusting.
Looks like he has closed up shop and is gone. Business sign and all the fencing is gone.
Hopefully he leaves the state!!! His court hearing is today for the numerous animal cruelty charges… I wonder how that will work out for him???
Oooh, oooh, oooh - if he skips court, a warrant will be issued for Contempt of Court and Failure to Appear (FTA). Judges may not place too much importance on saving Fido and Fluffy, but woe be anyone who disrespects them!
And the penalties for contempt and FTA start to add up rather quickly. He could end up facing way more time/fines than if he had just shown up for court. (insert happy dance here)
He’s still running ads on Craigslist - even today… Same horses he’s been trying to sell for months and months. Search Craigslist for “more ads by this user” and it brings up 5 ads, 3 of which are horses.
Sams’ court case was “continued” until Sept. 15th. If he doesn’t show up, there’s going to be one very PO’d bail bondsman since his bond was $50K.
I drove by there yesterday, and there was a front-end loader scraping up all the paddock footing and loading it into a large dump truck. All the fencing is gone. I’m wondering where he’s now housing those horses he listed on Craigslist yesterday. I bet he’s moving/moved to a new location.
Apparently he is now in Louisa County and running ads on the Richmond CL.

I was recently told he was related to the guy with the training track at Sowego and whatever that other street is. I’ll try to verify this…
It was verified Dave Sams (William David Sams) is Larry Sam’s uncle…
