I have one (new maybe 6 years ago? I can’t really remember). I tried a bunch on my TB and that is the only one where he visibly relaxed and went nicely in. I loved it, too. I still do (had to have a couple billets replaced last year). Oddly, it fits my new horse pretty well, too - they have a similar dip behind the wither but they are both rather widely sprung through the rib cage. New horse is more so (IDSH so 1/2 draft) and while this saddle on the TB is like a comfy sofa, it is less so on the new horse. To the point where I get hip pain (horse doesn’t complain a bit that it isn’t a perfect fit) - so now I’m considering trying something new with the new horse but it was such a crap journey to find one for the TB that I dread doing it all over again. But my hips may force me to do it! She is wider than I’m used to and so fun to ride that I will do what I need to in order to make it work!
So yes, it can fit different horses. It’s not going to be a perfect fit for every horse but for similarly conformed horses, it works (at least it does for me).
