Yes. Mine was a plain pancake Crump saddle made in the UK. Super narrow twist, and pretty hard slick pig skin seat. Oh; those were the days… lol.

I love Hydrophane and definitely recommend it. That said, I’ve never thought it darkened anything THAT much, even the darkening oil. Based on description, this saddle might have to be dyed, but I’d wait until it’s broken in to determine that.
