Devon Breed Show Results?
Just a thought: The use of European judges may have caused a bias toward imported horses, and specific registries from overseas. Do our US judges have specific affiliations and therefore possible conflict of interest?
Breed show judges are:
Jayne Ayers “R” DSHB USA
Carter Bass “R” DSHB USA
Janet Foy “R” DSHB USA
Sue Mandas “R” DSHB USA

So are any of those ladies affiliated with specific registries?

And has anyone heard how this morning’s mare and stallion classes went?

Huge congrats to all!

Jayne was affiliatated with the Westfalen registry but I have NEVER known her to show bias.

I don’t know who designed their website, but it is a logistical nightmare. There are a bunch of links that say “Results”, but only point back to the same page.

So after a bunch of digging around, I finally found them.

And just like that, they have now apparently fixed the link under About>Breed Division Results.
Is this link working for others? I get a ‘page not ready’ thing.

Is this link working for others? I get a ‘page not ready’ thing.
Opens for me. You can (or will be able to) access all the results off this page: http://dressageatdevon.org/cms2/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=12&Itemid=86 By opening the “schedule” links you can see owner/breeder info as well. Hope this helps

Davywon the high placing hanoverian of the show!

YAY Maryanna - YAY!

I had 3 horses show on Tuesday and was very happy with the judging and scoring. I thought the judges were fair and appropriate.

HUGE congrats to ALL!!!

VERY HAPPY that our homebred colt Velluto by Schiffon continues to shine, winning the 3 year old colt class and and earning Reserve Champion colt.

This is my first time not being at Devon with my horses and it driving me crazy!

I heard that an Iberian stallion won the mature stallion class today.

It still drives me nuts that bloodlines aren’t listed anywhere.

Wednesday results -

And yes, a PRE stallion won the stallions in hand class. Looks like he actually tied with Coeur d’Amour on score, but was placed first. Then they were reversed for the stallion championship, with Coeur d’Amour named champion.

Love it (not!) -

The horse that won Grand Champion at DAD is recorded with USEF as by unknown out of unknown.

I’m almost positive she is by Prestige VDL. She is managed by “peskee,” who posts here, so you can PM her for more info.

That’s great! What a handsome guy.

Beatrice VDL is by Prestige VDL out of L’Actrice who is by Lorentin l. She has a Rousseau colt at her side and is now also in foal to UB 40. She is just lovely. If there is anything such as a perfect horse she is it. Be sure to watch the video and you will understand our love for this mare…
