That is wonderful. I’m surprised no one has said this, but I’ve know dog show people that take lemon to treat the water in new places because they think their dogs get diarrhea from drinking different water (not at home). It could be as simple as new water upset the dog’s system.

Hello, Lexi is doing quite well. I’d say she’s pretty much back to normal now. She is eating her normal dog food, bouncing off the walls with energy and her diarrhea has gone away. She will be on the Flagyl for another week. Thanks for all the advice

I seriously doubt it. She gets about 2 tbsp every other day and has never had an issue with it.
One of mine has had these exact symptoms a few times in the past - never positive for giardia. They are out and about a lot - we go hiking, to the park, etc so I think they just pick stuff up. A round of antibiotics and she always springs back within a day or two. Hydration is generally the biggest concern.
