Only the Rambo turnout is made with a nylon outer. The Amigo is polyester which is not as tough, no matter what denier it is. The Rhino turnout outer layer is made of polypropylene—I have never used a blanket made with that so I don’t know how it holds up.
Haven’t read all the posts, but I somewhat disagree that the Rambo and the Rhino fit the same. In my experience the Rambo and Amigo have the same fit and the Rhino is much narrower through the shoulders. I have been super happy with the Amigos…
