Right now we’re in an extremely rural location and our postal service is top notch. HOWEVER, when we lived outside the DC metro area, it was the pits. Misdelivered packages from USPS, a kitchenaid mixer that left the local UPS warehouse in an employee’s personal vehicle, etc… I would also suggest getting a post office box or Mail Boxes box for special deliveries. It might cut down on some of the hassle.
