For awhile I was just using the Hunter heads that they sell at Home Depot, but they just couldn’t handle the psi. I got the stainless steel I-20s also made by Hunter from Sprinkler Warehouse. Much pricier, but have lasted for five years now without any issues.
Not sure if non-symmetrical placement would help, but I’ve always thought about asking someone who manages the watering of the grass for sport’s complexes because they must have it perfectly dialed in.
If I won the lottery though, those Ebb and Flow under footing systems seem wonderful outside the occasional hiss that occurs as it switches on.
