Then I would say “no” to a supplement. Because that isn’t going to affect the bottom of the hoof, when you pull the shoes. Nutrient changes take time. Hypothetically, you’d need your horse on a supplement for 6-12 months to have your “new hoof” with changes from the nutrients.
But a supplement isn’t going to make your horse more comfortable all of a sudden. That adaption period just takes time. Just be aware of footing and ground and likely your mare should be fine.
