Do "we" have an opinion on newer Stubben saddles?

How is the balance on the newer Stubbens? I seem to remember that the old siegfrieds could tend to put a person in a chair seat. Has that changed with the new designs?

Yes. The old Siegfrieds were all-purpose saddles; the new close-contact and jumping models have a more contemporary aesthetic and design.

Love the balance on mine. I put my foot in the stirrup, swing on and sit and am <there>.

I have a 4 year old portos and it’s worn terribly. The stitching has already had to be repaired (no, I don’t have loose legs) and there’s strange bubbles as if there’s something between the layers on the flap. Apparently nothing can be done about this… I’m currently looking for a second hand Butet to replace it with.
