Do you braid for XC clinics?

I always thought the object in eventing braids was to do as few as possible. I could do my short-necked draftx in like 10, lol. He was gorgeous, so it looked good.

I think my TB got 6 or 7 dressage button braids last time lol! AND with elastics! Didn’t even do the forelock since he needs a fly bonnet (chestnut lol).

(Coming from a converted hunter who used to do pretty hunter braids with yarn even for schooling shows :smiley: )

Yeah, it’s called a roach. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I enjoy sleeping & riding. I do not enjoy horse-barbie hair & happily the rules do not require it at any level. Judges have always been happy with my tidy mohawks & no one else really cares what your horse’s neck hair looks like.

And I’m one of the many eventers who might not notice that your horse was roached, not braided. :lol:
