There’s two. The Miss Mitt for little hands and then there’s The Mitt. I found one place in Ontario that has it on their website. The shipping is costs almost as much as the Mitt. Geez, how badly do I want it…
Maybe the small one isn’t sooo small… maybe try it and return if it’s super duper small?
This is genius.
I actually had a conversation with a W.F. Young (Absorbine) rep this winter, and she made the same point you did. She told me to always brush/wipe the horse after spraying to evenly distribute the fly spray into the coat rather than just misting it onto the horse. I don’t know why this had never occurred to me before, honestly.
I dedicated an old soft nylon bristle brush to use to distribute the fly spray after spraying it on the horse. The brush spreads it out over the coat without absorbing much.
Yes! I cut up a too long sheepskin girth cover into a bunch of “mitts.” I find that the spray sits on top of the fleece really well, and then is easy to transfer to the horse, rather than just soaking the mitt itself.
I liked The Mitt until it fell apart. Here are some other ideas that are close
