I said the horses looked great, shelter? There’s shelter and you can go to Google Earth and see a picture from May of 2012. How many of you have shelters and your horses won’t go in them?

I said I couldn’t speak for the condition of the inside of the house and that I watched the parents walk out of the house, get in their car and drive away. Clearly they weren’t confined to a bed. Why weren’t the authorities called if conditions were so horrible?

I clearly don’t understand why someone would’nt pursue legal remedy if they were ripped off. It really isn’t that hard and the resulting bad press would force the issue if there is one. Searching for judgements, there really isn’t much to find and for those that have been in business, especially in CA, people sue all the time.

The funny thing is Katboxxx finally got back to me when I requested a contact number and this was the reply: “Sorry Jill, no can do!” Hmmmmm, if that was really the SIL she would obviously know that my area code is 200 miles away from Petaluma which is somewhat suspicious!

The facts are in the photos - of the “lab” in the kitchen, the dog feces on the carpet, the dead chicks in the bathtub. The letterhead and breeding certificates that were blown up from the original photos verify that this is indeed her house.

You ask how I’m assuming that’s her “lab”? Well, how many people keep a microscope, scale, along with other breeding equipment (including a USDA shipping box) in their KITCHEN? Along with all sorts of bottles in disarray (here I’m talking about a bottle of Regumate sitting right next to opened bottles of saline and a bottle of dishwashing liquid)? Not to mention a broken vial of an unidentified injectible medication…with the broken top & glass shards lying next to the vial… What a hot mess.

Proof? Look at the photos. All the facts you need are right there. I can tell you the TB farms I’ve been to - their labs are so clean you could eat off the counters (not that you’d want to).

Really, you are that oblivious to what people have said happened to them regarding JB’s breeding business? I personally emailed her and asked her to take off the pictures of my horse, that was bred in Germany who is by Redwine off her website and she wouldn’t. Thats my personal experience with her, but I tend to believe so many others…

Bolding mine. After some googling, the ‘lovely ranch" is out in the fog belt . If it isn’t foggy, it’s freakin’ windy and they do have a tree line but it’s on the leeward side so it won’t do them any good. It does look like it could be a nice place once they put up a barn. For a brief period of time my trainer was four miles due north of there and it was cold all_the_time.

The people that are getting ripped off are from far away. I can’t tell you how hard it was to deal with my elderly family member’s hospitalization from 2000 miles away and a three hour time difference. I finally had to go there and then hire a local person to do my legwork or risk running out of FMLA time and have to go home with issues that still needed handling.

Taking someone’s money for a breeding certificate and not providing it is still theft, it’s just usually too small to justify the endless long distance calls and having to compute the time difference (although east to west usually runs in one’s favor).

There is a question though - how many transactions were Paypal or cc, and how long does one have to file a complaint? Were people strung along till the time was over? And regardless if the customer got their money back, the bank probably didn’t see any money, so sorry, there’s still theft there.

Sorry Mike, but that photo IS the facts. For those of us that stand stallions and do ship semen, you are just going to have to take our word for it that the photo indeed shows a “lab”. By the contents of the equipment and the garbage in that room, semen IS being processed in that room!

I’ve included some photos of our lab, which is in my office, which includes ALL of the same items and materials that are in Jill’s “lab”. The only difference is, the majority of my supplies and equipment are put away and stored until I do a collection. It is not a big fancy lab, but it is clean and functional.

And oh yeah, I have a garbage can. That’s the other difference!

Seriously. I’m the first to admit that when my late husband and I moved house, it probably did look pretty horrible at points because I used it as a chance to go through all the Stuff we’d accumulated and that his parents had brought from his room at their house, etc. and hey, the floor is big and handy when you’re trying to sort through tons of paperwork (he was severely disabled so there was a LOT of unsorted paperwork relating to medical care, benefits, care givers, in addition to the normal household and school stuff) but you know what we did not have? Animal poo or dead animals!

(Okay, I will grant that if you came at the right moment you MIGHT have been able to find a single poo from the pet rats that they’d turfed out of their cage along with bits of bedding that they decided they didn’t like. But you know what I did when they did that? I picked the mess up as soon as I had a second to do so! It was not hard.)

Appsolute, way back on page 7 or so, posted a link to Sonoma County’s records, which don’t seem to pull up linkable search results, but a search of this site for “Burnell” will turn up her real estate judgments, as well as a few other absentee judgments against attorneys, feed store, etc.

No dog in this fight at all, other than hating to see so many people scammed, and so many nice horses caught up in it.
