I purchased one as a nice saddle to have around for my high withered mare. Price was right. I take excellent care of my tack and mine fell apart within a month of owning it. Horrible quality leather- stitching coming undone, leather turning gray. Awful. Wouldn’t touch another with a 10 foot pole. There is a thread about these saddles if you do a search. Thank goodness Dover stands behind their 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. Returned that piece of junk immediately
Oh boy, I hope mine holds up! I had an Elite for six or seven years, then the old Circuit Eq. which was really comfortable, but had to sell when I got a different horse. The leather on those was not great - but again, they’re inexpensive saddles. Hope this Premier Victory doesn’t fall apart. But at least there’s a lifetime guarantee…
I’m bumping this back up to the top to ask a favor. I am planning to buy a Premier EQ, but I haven’t bought from Dover in a while and don’t have a current sale catalog. Would anyone be willing to scan (or take a cell phone pic of) a copy of this page and email it to me? I’d really rather not pay full freight if I can save $150 and get a free bridle in the process. PM me if you have a second to help.

i have the most recent sale catalog.
If crimsonsky can’t help you PM me - think I can scrounge up a catalog number for you
Thanks, beowulf. I think I’m up a creek. This latest sale catalog (thanks, crimsonsky), doesn’t have the EQ; it doesn’t have much in the way of tack at all, really. The previous sale catalog expired on 8/31. On 9/20, I tried to order an EQ that Dover had on their website (slightly “blemished,” probably a trial saddle)-- a 17.5, forward flap. After trying for two days to pin down the tree size with Dover so I didn’t pay shipping both ways for a saddle that would never work (the tree size wasn’t listed online), I finally got a voicemail. They’d made an inventory error; the saddle I’d ordered didn’t exist. They canceled my order for the apparently nonexistent saddle. When I called two days ago to see if they’d honor the 8/31 exp. sale deal on a new saddle (given the snafu on their end with the blemished one I’d tried to order), they said no.
I know I was’t owed anything, but I really was a little surprised. Since they seemed disinclined to budge, I suppose I’ll just wait until the spring to see if the EQ’s crop back up on sale. I just can’t justify buying now if, in five or six months, I can have the same saddle at $150 less plus a free bridle.
