Dr. Green success stories

Update. This is rehab number 3. Vet cleared horse again for legging up but said to wait at least a year to start jumping if the leg continues to hold while doing flat. I’m a glutton for punishment.

I thought rehab 3 was in 2023 - or is this “active back to work” rehab attempt 3?

Either way, jingles for a successful recovery! It ain’t no fun

Hoping it goes well! My guy did his tendon in back in feb in the mud. Opted to do paddock turn out as he is saner there than in a stall. About a month in he managed to bow the tendon fully. Survived 5 days in and I told the vet he’s going back out or we’re gunna kill each other. He’s back to being his loveable self and is relatively pasture sound. Arguably sound at the walk even and biggest win is I’m actually able to treat him and not risk bodily harm lol. When he got kicked in his suspensory we also did turn out and it healed beautifully and we were back to full work with not an ounce of issue til he got stuck in deep mud and tore his Sdft in it. Even pulled his shoe off. He’s never taken a shoe off in the field before so I know he did a number on that leg getting out.
