Dressage - Grand Prix Special

The order of go is odd:
Some individuals
The 5,6,7-placed teams in set rotation (5-6-7, 5-6-7)
Some more individuals
The 1,2,3,4-placed teams in set rotation (2-1-4-3, 2-1-4-3)

Not the random groups of five from lowest to highest usually seen

Does anyone know of a site showing order of go and current Team Rankings, OTHER than the London 2012 site? It’s slowing down my laptop to no end and it doesn’t seem to be showing total team scores from both tests.

That baby needs a wee dram o’ Guinness

It is showing the current rankings, but only those teams who have had a rider go today. Note the US score is not the same as Jan’s score today, (Tina’s going now) so it is counting all of them.

The top 4 teams don’t go until the end.

I can’t really watch right now, but NBC says they are going to show some of the team dressage final live at 10:45am Eastern. Does that sound right to those of you watching? Will the class still be running 4 hours from now?

Yay! Someone held the flag correctly!

Yes, Isabeau, 4 hours sounds right. Today is a long day!

The rides go until 11:13 Eastern

Cheers for that Yaya. Every time I try to flip over to that site everything locks up.

Shame about the blips in Tina’s test… I really hoped she would make it through to the freestyle.

Where’s Gary seated today?

crossing my fingers that she sneaks in !! I love her freestyle!!

just now catching up with the earlier riders, love how the commentator refers to helmets as “crash hats”, LOL

Okay. TV coverage has been a little ‘off’ with timing. So I will try tuning it around 10:15 am. I should get the last several rides that way. Thanks.

Good luck Ravel and Steffen !

Come on, Steffen! We need our score bumped up!

Hey guys, Lisa Slade of the Chronicle is hosting a live chat about the Special… toodle on over to http://www.chronofhorse.com/olympics-cover-it-live if you want to join in–no refreshing!

My screen keeps skipping. Did he have mistakes in the ones between the pirouettes?

Good score ! Yea.

Ravel tripped a bit after gorgeous 1st pirr.

Shoot. The London 2012 site just dropped the team standings.

Now it’s back. We’re ahead of Spain, but unless Patrik tanks, we’re behind the Swedes. Oh well.

IMHO something happened in the corner before Ravel came down the center line.
It was as if he nearly stopped (or stepped awkwardly), then on the center line he tripped…

I’ve watched Ravel in person for years…never saw him do anything like that before.

Again, IMHO, these horses seem tired - mentally and physically.

But then there’s Fuego !
